The story begins with a whistleblower letter exposing a politician's misconduct. Hoshino Jasmine (Hana Kuroki), the daughter of the ruling party secretary-general and secretary, secretly pursues the truth, but is cut off by her father because of this, losing her job and shelter, and her life instantly hits rock bottom.
