"17" is an alternative school idol drama with a dark thriller theme. It received complaints due to its bloody and violent content during its broadcast, but this did not affect its continued rise in ratings. It was nominated for seven categories in the 2006 Taiwan Golden Bell Awards. In the summer of 17 years old, all the good things ended in an instant when Yi Jing (played by Angela Chang) accidentally fell to her death from a building. The rebellious but dedicated innocent boy Zou Kejie (played by Zhang Shanjie) was mistaken for the murderer of Yi Jing, but in order to keep Yi Jing's secret, he decided to commit suicide to end everything. Yijing's twin sister Yizhen (played by Angela Zhang) and Zou Kejie's brother Zou Keqiang (played by Lu Tingwei) decided to investigate the truth of the incident together. Unexpectedly, with further exploration, more secrets would be revealed layer by layer... On the day Yi Jing died, the seemingly happy family collapsed instantly.
