李伯爵（林子祥 饰）虽然身为僵尸，却是一个善良的僵尸，因为不肯吸食人血伤及无辜，而日渐虚弱。一天，李伯爵邂逅了名为安娜（关之琳 饰）的女子，安娜的温柔和魅力深深的吸引着他坠入了情网。一场意外中，李伯爵用自己的血救了孤儿柏林的性命，这一幕恰巧被安娜看见，李伯爵的身份曝了光。 安娜的哥哥冯仁玉（徐少强 饰）是一个无恶不作的大坏蛋，他得知了李伯爵的血能够使人起死回生的消息，于是绑架了安娜和李伯爵。所幸李伯爵的仆人舍命相救才没教冯仁玉的阴谋得逞。然而最终，冯仁玉还是得到了李伯爵的血，在二十四小时之后，他将会变成刀枪不入不老不死的僵尸。
