自从六岁那年，妈妈从天台一跃而下，林志宏（文俊辉 饰）就再也没有说过一句话。与婆婆相依为命的他生命里从来没有父亲的存在。“爸爸飞去了远方，只要花开爸爸就会回来。”这是妈妈自幼对林志宏说的话。 陈满堆（陈奕迅 饰）的童年经历同样不愉快，如果不是遇上老大（曾志伟 饰）可能早已被打死或者饿死街头。老大给他分配任务，成功后给他生活费用。这次的新任务是把黑帮头子纽乔泽（林子祥 饰）的儿子找出来，于是陈满堆进了学校当校工。 三个人就这样相遇了，陈满堆，林志宏，以及代课老师miss张（林苑 饰），三个各自怀着自己心事、有着自己心病的人，奇迹般地建立起互相信任、单纯直接的感情。直到纽乔泽出现，大家才惊现林志宏就是纽的儿子。 个人都有着自己的使命，亦有着自己的选择。©豆瓣
