魔术师罗飞（吴镇宇 饰）常常被童年的阴影困扰，在一次亡命表演中差点丧生，便是因为一时受阴影的影响。父亲罗琛拥有杰出成就，他严格要求儿子希望他也能有同样的成就，罗飞从小叛逆，也常常受到了父亲的体罚，也常被困进衣柜中。 直至长大了，罗飞的性格中也出现了缺失。 经过那次失手，女友李晓琼（杨芷菲 饰）把男友带到了郊外修养，她认为男友是过分劳累才会差点导致意外发生的。邻居是一对古怪的夫妻岳锋（张兆辉 饰）与妻子（叶璇 饰），他们举止奇怪，晓琼一直觉得自己居住的地方有种莫名奇怪的感觉，自从她在自家与岳锋家看到类似幽灵的出现后，她便越发觉得生活中的诡异气氛浓厚。 晓琼好意请人为罗飞的父亲做一个石像，却勾起了罗飞恐怖的童年记忆，罗飞的思潮一发不可收拾……
