双叶（芳根京子 饰）和若叶（松井玲奈 饰）是一对相依为命的姐妹，她们自幼由母亲香织（筱原凉子 饰）拉扯长大。因为父亲的缺席，全家的生活重担都落在了香织的身上，埋首于工作的她无可奈何的忽略和女儿们的沟通，可以这么说，若叶一直都是双叶在照顾和陪伴，因此若叶的性格十分的古怪，和母亲之间的关系也格外淡漠。 渐渐地，香织意识到不能再任由亲子关系再继续这样恶化下去了，于是，她决定利用做便当来传递自己对孩子们的感情。香织总是将便当做的很可爱，可是若叶偏偏最讨厌可爱的东西，香织的便当让她在学校里受到了同学们的嘲笑。但随着时间的推移，若叶渐渐的从便当上感受到了母亲的爱。
