Denis Villeneuve · The story takes place 30 years after the blackout. Replicant K (played by Ryan Gosling) is a new generation of Blade Runner. In today's world, the boundaries between humans and replicants are more clearly defined. Replicants are instilled with the idea of serving human beings from the moment they are created and are absolutely not allowed to have human feelings.
