“炸寒单”是台东特有的元宵文化习俗。 正月十五，夜晚的街头锣鼓喧天，炮炸寒单爷现场挤满了人潮，肉身寒单阿义（郑人硕 饰）站在神轿上，威风凛凛地接受信徒丢上鞭炮轰炸。忽然间，成堆的炸药被引爆，震耳欲聋，尖叫声不断…… 意外造成阿义女友萱萱（林予晞 饰）的死亡，不忍心看保住性命却丧失一切的阿义堕落社会边缘，正昆（胡宇威 饰）毅然放弃成为教师的机会挺身相助，用尽力气将阿义拉离地狱的深渊。 歃血为盟的兄弟二人，一同经营“昆仪回收场”刻苦耐劳地生活着，却怎知当年意外的真相曝光之后，从此两人在情义的天平两端生死挣扎，炸在身上的纹身之罪，是否能抵消深藏的锥心之痛？
