1933年，代号“幽灵”的特工主导了反对日本殖民统治的抵抗运动。新上任的警卫队长（朴海秀 饰）为了阻止“幽灵”暗杀总督，在朝鲜总督府内设下抓幽灵的圈套。就这样，5名嫌疑人被绑架到孤立的酒店，他们是：总督府通信科监督官村山（薛景求 饰）、记录暗号的担当者次景（李荷妮 饰） 、政务总监秘书百合（朴素丹 饰）、解读暗号的千科长（徐贤宇 饰）、通信科职员白虎（金东希 饰）。警卫队长必须在一天的有限时间里查明“幽灵”的真实身份。 该作品改编自茅盾文学奖得主麦家的小说《风声》。
