Several top students at the University of Chicago Hospital, driven by curiosity, planned a crazy experiment to explore the mystery of death. They took turns lying in the operating room and entered a state of death, and then were revived by other guarding classmates. This thrilling and exciting death shuttle began step by step in a dark night. After Nelson (Kiefer Sutherland), the first to perform the test, "died", he met the boy who died because of his insult. After resurrecting from the dead, Nelson, although all his senses have become more acute and sensitive, fell into a deep nightmare; the second person to undergo the experiment was the lustful Joe (William Baldwin), who saw various pornographic scenes and met girls he had abused; then, David (Kevin Bacon) also underwent the experiment, and he delayed the death experiment to two minutes; the female student Rachel (Julia Roberts) ) even relived his father's suicide during his death time.
