《大漠巾帼情》由国家林业和草原局、中共榆林市委宣传部、中共榆阳区委、榆阳区人民政府、中共榆阳区委宣传部联合摄制，影片以榆阳区补浪河女子民兵治沙连为故事原型，讲述了治沙连四十多年来坚持治沙造林的感人事迹，治沙连的女兵们用自己的青春，在毛乌素沙漠中，谱写了一曲绿色的乐章，讴 歌了治沙连艰苦奋斗、自强不息的治沙精神，弘扬了继往开来、薪火相传的革命传统。
