战争的爆发使得名为尹瑞娜（阿尔芭·洛瓦赫 Alba Rohrwacher 饰）的女子失去了赖以生存的家园，她一路颠沛流离逃亡到了柏林，整日因为非法的身份东躲西藏，担惊受怕。为了生存，什么都不会的尹瑞娜只得利用起了她唯一的资本——肉体，开始了桃色交易。一日偶然中，尹瑞娜结识了名为凯利（文森兹·凯弗 Vinzenz Kiefer 饰）的流浪汉，异国他乡，两个同样飘摇无依的人选择了相互依靠。善良的凯利收留了伊瑞娜，两人一狗组成了一个奇怪的家庭。和凯利同居后，尹瑞娜依然经营着自己的“生意”，对于这一切，凯利并没有表示反对。然而某一天，尹瑞娜的一位客人突然死亡，看着床上毫无生气的尸体，尹瑞娜和凯利陷入了无助之中。
