故事发生在一个宁静祥和的回族村落之中，古柏（罗克旺 饰）是生活在那里的一位淳朴的年轻人，因为他自幼患有一种怪病，所以古柏的性格十分自卑，他坚信没有姑娘会看上这样的自己，所以对于生活和感情都不抱任何的希望。 对于古柏的想法和现状，他的家人十分的担忧，为他安排了相亲活动，哪知道和古柏相亲的，竟是一位名叫阿西燕（马思琪 饰）的非常美丽的姑娘。在两家人的威逼利诱之下，两个年轻人不情不愿的准备结婚，实际上，阿西燕也有着自己的秘密，她曾有一个非常恩爱的前男友，哪知道一场可怕的车祸夺走了他的性命，这带给了阿西燕巨大的精神打击，直到今天，她都没能够从对前男友的怀念之中走出来。
