一個清冷的早晨 露宿街頭的熊青被人發現倒臥在他的大小行李廂旁 已無氣息 熊青的身上和行李箱裡沒有身分證 只有一堆書、衣服和幾張聖誕卡 聖誕卡沒有信封 鄉公所處理遊民的承辦人員 只好試著打卡片上署名『育承』留下的電話號碼 在美國擁有妻小和安定生活的李育承 接到了來自台灣的電話 李育承接到熊青已經過世的消息十分錯愕 李育承告訴太太熊青是他的好友 他要回台灣幫忙把他的身後事處理好 誰知道回到了台灣 李育承卻發現沒有直系親屬的簽名 是沒有辦法幫熊青處理後事的 為了找到熊青的女兒 李育承只能踏上這個他已經逃避了多年的旅程 向過去告別
