朴久（申久 饰）年近七十，一人抚养年仅六岁的孙女达成（金香奇 饰），尽管爷孙两人终日生活在贫穷和困顿之中，仅靠着收废品的微薄所得勉强度日，但因为有着彼此的陪伴，朴久和达成都感到由衷的温暖和快乐。噩耗传来，爷孙两人最后的庇护所面临被拆迁的命运，朴久和达成也因此而流落街头无家可归。 一次偶然中，朴久遇见了一位富有的房地产开发商，紧接着，朴久带着达成来到了开发商的家中，在这里，他们发现了一个新的天地，闹出了一连串笑话也惹了一堆的麻烦。因为误食了有毒的肉，达成陷入了生命垂危的境地，虚弱中，达成告诉爷爷自己想吃肉，为了满足孙女的愿望，朴久不惜以身犯险，而当朴久再度回到达成的身边时，她已经永远地闭上了双眼。
