Synopsis
该片讲述了高翠兰为了顺应父母之命，配合举办招亲大会，可诸事不顺，不但没嫁出去，反而成了高老庄的笑柄。 高老爷想尽办法，自导自演了山大王抢亲，路上阴差阳错遭遇猪刚鬣，他误打误撞又将高翠兰给送回高宅，而后与高翠兰之间发生一系列的爱恨纠葛，最终唐僧等人在高老庄将他“收服”为徒，一起去往西天取经的故事。
