近年来农村大龄剩男持续增长，谈婚论嫁的彩礼金额越来越高，热心的宝哥当起了媒人，给同村喜子说媒遭遇骗婚人财两空，宝哥、喜子无奈踏上寻找骗婚“媳妇”之路。 宝哥的女儿娇娇在外打工，背着宝哥谈了恋爱，男友王帅一心想要一辆属于自己的车，娇娇带王帅回家找宝哥“借钱”，路上与骗婚团伙的面包车相撞后，王帅由于法律意识淡薄，顺手拿走了骗婚团伙的钱，两伙人，一路跌跌撞撞，一路险象环生，最终骗子落网骗婚团伙因宝哥提供线索被一网打尽，宝哥与女儿之间的亲情得到了救赎，王帅为自己的行为投案自首。大龄光棍喜子幸运的追回了钱财损失，继续托人说媳妇……
