大型电视连续剧《神舟》，主要讲述了载人航天工程启动以后十多年来，工程研制、试验和发射过程中发生的故事。载人航天工程设有总指挥部，分为航天员、空间应用、飞船、火箭、发射场、测控通信、着陆场共七大系统，直接参与工程的单位有三千多家，涉及工程人员数十万。1971年4月，以“曙光”命名的中国载人航天工程第一次上马，并从当时的空军飞行员中选拔出了中国第一代航天员。因为种种原因，“曙光”计划最终没能进行下去，逼迫下马，这对当时的工程研制人员来说无疑是一个巨大的打击。8101所做为“曙光”计划下马后留下的唯一火种，他们的许多关于载人航天的试验诸如航天服、太空生存环境等试验的研制还在艰难地进行，锻炼排也一直在保留着，他们一直期待着载人航天工程能够重新上马。但是因为种种原因，载人航天计划不但没有音讯，8101所反而被一次次地裁减，差一点就被撤编。为了提高中国航天的运载...
