NASA俱乐部策划主管林幻（徐帆 饰）是一位美丽聪慧的女士，但她的丈夫——小提琴手李宾（温海涛 饰）却因为一次意外而成了植物人，卧病在床。林幻为了医治丈夫，拼命工作挣钱，然而当原单位拒绝支付高额医药费后，她的处境愈发艰难。这时，两个男人出现在她的生活中：一个是装修公司总经理梁天成（赵宝刚 饰），另一个则是暗恋她的调音师祖强（刘小宁 饰）。为了帮林幻度过难关，祖强变卖家产不惜血本筹款。林幻被他深深打动，两人患难见真情。由于还是不够救急，情急之下，祖强请求梁天成帮忙，双方达成了一笔交易：梁天成支付给祖强20万元救急，而林幻则要入住他的别墅。无奈之下，林幻听从了命运的安排。她与梁天成的女儿成了朋友，却婉拒了梁天成的感情，因为她心中还是割舍不下祖强。为了还债，祖强冒着生命危险作替身演员，当建筑工人，而梁天成则暗中助他一臂之力。终于，让他体面地“赎”回了林幻。...
