因一次意外，让四处打工的小夏（李多海 饰）和其侄子被骗得无家可归，暂时居住在陈伯一家。陈家对小夏颇有好感和眼缘，除了陈家的二儿子皓峰（郑元畅 饰）对小夏的身份和上门的目的一直抱有怀疑。而皓峰的堂弟立扬（李易峰 饰）则对小夏一见钟情。 陈家是有口皆碑的小吃名店。拥有美食天赋的小夏被陈伯任命为厨艺接班人。这个决定引起了皓峰的不满，导致和小夏矛盾重重，误会多多。但可谓不打不相识，几经波折之后，小夏和皓峰走到了一起。但好日子并不长久，皓峰的前女友和立扬的生母纷纷出来阻挠，不是破坏二人的感情，就是想方设法夺财产。但过程是曲折的，结局是美好的。一出甜蜜的故事就此上演。
