华南轩京城赶考高中探花，放着京城的高官不做，偏偏回崂山做了个道长。 蔺惠君是个宫廷乐师，偷了“韶乐曲谱”逃到崂山，在躲避追捕中邂逅了华道长，原来惠君竟然是跳大神的玉儿和小磨咕的失散胞姐。惠君为了救自己的弟妹，与前来追杀的公公同归于尽。糊涂伍县令一直被土豪迟耀祖左右，将崂山搞得个黑白颠倒、乌烟瘴气，皇上钦命华道长为四品钦差，查处崂山的桩桩奇案，华道长在年青的蒲松龄、女侠倩娘、玉儿及小磨咕等人协助下除暴安良，并将韶乐与道乐完美融合，使皇上与太后龙颜大悦。本剧以蒲松龄青年时期传说经历为线索，以聊斋部分篇章为素材，“刺贪刺虐入木三分”，并且在惊险传奇中讲述故事，在喜剧幽默中逗人捧腹，是不可多得的反贪反腐正能量作品。
