在这个世界上，存在着一种名为“怪灵”的生物。故事发生在弗塞亚学院之中，在那里，设立了名为“脑机能异常对策室”的机构，专门解决怪灵带来的危险和麻烦。一条晴彦（下野紘配音）是一年级新生，亦是对策室的成员，他拥有能够使用绘画封印怪灵的能力，是足智多谋的军师。川神舞（上坂堇配音）是一条晴彦的学姐，个性开朗行事冲动的她常常惹出不少的麻烦，和晴彦组成了搭档相互取长补短居然格外的般配。除此之外，温文尔雅的千金大小姐和泉玲奈（早见沙织配音），特立独行的孤高展示水无濑小系（内田真礼配音），这些孩子们集结在一起，为了保护他们挚爱的朋友和家园向怪灵发起了宣战。
