《精诚大医》由河南中医学院郑玉玲院长总策划，并和著名作家张芳共同编剧。河南中医学院有200多名师生参与了影片的拍摄工作。该片以河南中医学院原院长国医大师李振华教授为原型，同时集众多名老中医精湛的医术和高尚的医德于一体；影片以厚重的中医文化底蕴和精彩的艺术形式，为中医药走向世界、让世人更多地了解中医药传统文化作出了贡献。
