吕柔（容祖儿饰）在度假村开设了一间宠物店，继而认识了经营烧烤场的黄兴贵（刘青云饰）。阿贵脸上有一道奇怪的胎记，口上说不介意，但其实一直耿耿于怀因为这块胎记令自己失去了很多恋爱的机会，更令别人觉得他是坏人。小柔一直寻觅初恋情人阿Tim，阿贵积极相助。几经辛苦小柔找到了阿Tim，可是此时阿Tim已经有了女朋友，伤心不已的小柔一蹶不振，无心工作。幸好阿贵不断鼓励小柔，让她寄情于工作，期间二人情愫渐生。 Tim受到了女友的背叛，小柔好心安慰，却让阿贵以为二人旧情复燃。刚好小柔受到了外国一间大学录取修读动物心理学，Tim也决定到外国散心。小柔离开之际，一直盼望能见上阿贵一面……
