美丽的蔬菜园里，住着一群可爱的蔬菜精灵，然而在蔬菜园不远的地方，有一个贪吃府，里面住着青虫怪和它的忠实的仆人傻古古。青虫怪是一个科学怪人，他博揽群书，有自己的图书室和实验室，而且聪明贪婪诡计多端。青虫怪喜欢做一些奇怪的实验，经常研制一些神秘的药水，而且他是蔬菜精灵的天敌，最大的爱好就是吃蔬菜，所以一直对蔬菜园的蔬菜精灵们虎视眈眈，想独吞他们。青虫怪经常让自己的仆人傻古古偷偷潜进蔬菜园，得知蔬菜精灵们的行踪和近况，想方设法要吃掉这些可爱的蔬菜精灵。在傻古古提供蔬菜精灵们的情报之后，他总是想出各种办法来接近善良的蔬菜精灵，用各种诡计达到自己目的，但是蔬菜精灵们十分团结，在白菜精灵小翠的带领下大家一起对付青虫怪，一次又一次的挫败青虫怪的种种诡计和阴谋保护了自己和蔬菜园。
