一天，一民妇带女入寺进香，被主持黑沙掌看中，将女收于黑房中，此事被老拳师吴老东及儿子吴家秦看破，与黑沙掌及众淫僧大打出手，老拳师不慎命丧掌下，临终时嘱家秦必须学会鸳鸯腿才能打败黑沙掌。一群卖艺姑娘，以舞艺赚取生活费，黑沙掌等人当场调戏众女，为首的凤兰即以鸳鸯腿攻打黑沙掌，由于凤兰乃女儿身，鸳鸯腿功力不够，被黑沙掌打倒，家秦冲入阵中，救了凤兰，这才知道凤兰竟是鸳鸯腿传人的女儿。凤兰见了对父提出家秦有救命之恩，并愿以身相许，救父传授鸳鸯腿，家秦与凤兰苦心勤练，成功的练成了鸳鸯腿，二人齐力向南竹等发难，并得红姑相助，终于瓦解了南竹寺，同时也消灭了黑沙掌等邪僧。
