上海滩的私家侦探龙飞在自己的家中，早上八点一觉醒来，发现枕边人竟然是自己家的女佣梦瑶，并不是自己的老婆沈佩佩。而梦瑶却一口咬定自己就是龙飞的老婆，而沈佩佩才是家里的女佣，就在他正在不明所以的时候，他的八拜之交的铁杆兄弟侯放突然带人闯了进来，向他索要金子，索要不成竟然直接开枪将他打死，更奇怪的事情发生了，被打死的他竟然又在同一时间的早上八点复活了，这一次，他发现不但身边人变了，连他的身份也从一个侦探变成偷了银行金子的会计，而他的老婆沈佩佩不但是家里女佣还是自己的情人。老婆、情人、兄弟、金子，各种疑团密布，龙飞在不断的生死循环中，抽丝剥茧一点点接近真相……
