郭辛丽（李丽珍 饰）是一名歌星，拥有很多忠实的粉丝，星途一片光明，然而，她遇见了名为徐文龙的男人，徐文龙是出了名的花花公子，他用花言巧语骗取了郭辛丽的信任，又利用郭辛丽的的名气将自己捧红，与此同时，他和外面的莺莺燕燕之间的暧昧从未断绝。郭辛丽怀孕了，徐文龙担心孩子会影响自己的前程，于是逼迫郭辛丽将孩子打掉。 终于认清了徐文龙真正面目的郭辛丽痛苦的离开了他，她淡出娱乐圈，独自将孩子生下来取名子桥。郭辛丽生产落下了病根，又要独自抚养子桥，整个家庭都被笼罩在贫穷的阴影下。一场车祸夺走了徐文龙的生育能力，但徐文龙得知子桥是自己的骨肉后决定将他从郭辛丽身边抢走。
