漫天飞雪，瑟瑟寒冬。东邪黄药师（姜大卫 饰）一人独饮，挥酒淋剑，一场腥风血雨似在这刀光剑影中一触即发。天下第一武学奇书《九阴真经》引发江湖纷争，缘起缘灭，掀起连番恶斗。华山论剑后，真经之争似已平息，然而金国萨满教圣女冯蘅（梁佩玲 饰）因教中法器与真经有关，被卷入武林争夺之中。危急中，冯蘅被黄药师所救，两人互生情愫，情根深种。黄药师为救冯蘅身中剧毒，冯蘅只得从周伯通（廖启智 饰）手中骗取真经，却引来西毒欧阳锋（罗乐林 饰）前来抢夺，欲将之据为己有。铁掌帮大弟子陈玄风（张智霖 饰）本与白驼山首席女弟子梅超风（关宝慧 饰）势不两立，却在阴差阳错间结下不解情缘，更双双成为黄药师爱徒。然而欧阳锋仍对真经耿耿于怀，不惜胁持梅超风逼迫陈玄风偷取真经，徘徊在恩师与爱侣之间的陈玄风，矛盾不已。
