郭菲菲（滕丽名 饰）和文彩菱（汤盈盈 饰）是艺员训练班的同窗，一次偶然中，刚出道的文彩菱因为参加了一档综艺节目而大红大紫，而郭菲菲则一直不温不火，这让郭菲菲的心中很不是滋味。在文彩菱的介绍下，郭菲菲接下了一档广告通告，没想到因此爆红，地位一下子超越了文彩菱，让后者内心妒火中烧。 在几番较量之中败下阵来的文彩菱心灰意冷，遂决定同书香世家的小少爷连祉杰（敖嘉年 饰）结婚，没想到两人的爱情轰动全城，使得文彩菱的风头一下子就盖过了郭菲菲。不服气的郭菲菲当即决定追求连家大少爷连祉森（麦长青 饰），然而，两人想要成为连家的媳妇，首先要过连家奶奶何少兰（薛家燕 饰）这一关。
