Charlie (Eddie Murphy) and Phil (Jeff Garlin) work for a high-end advertising agency. They work diligently every day, but they do not earn a bright future for themselves. Instead, they neglect their family and children. An accident caused both Charlie and Phil to lose their jobs. The sudden free time made them realize their magical talents in raising children. They suddenly had an idea and decided to open a full-time daycare for dads. Charlie and Phil's nursery was opened. As time passed, their "business" became more and more prosperous, and they also had a number of regular "customers." The two even recruited an employee named Marvin (played by Steve Zahn) to become a veritable "boss." Just when the two were complacent, problems and troubles ensued.
