Rice Girl: Internal Revenue Service Information Investigation Section·Zokokuro

Masako Yoneda (played by Nanako Matsushima) is an elite investigator who works in the Information Investigation Section of the Tokyo National Taxation Bureau. She founded a new "Complex National Tax Case Processing Room" to specialize in handling difficult tax evasion cases that even the main department has difficulty in handling. She recruited a group of members with outstanding abilities but unique personalities who did not seek promotion to jointly deal with various tax evaders who maliciously hide their income. The members of the new department each have their own quirks, but under the leadership of Yoneda, they use their super information collection capabilities and investigative skills to push cunning tax evaders into desperation one after another. The plot is centered around a refreshing showdown between good and evil, showing how tax investigators maintain social fairness with professionalism and persistence, so that people who work hard to pay taxes can get the justice they deserve.
