The Sun of Expo

This drama tells the story of Asano Kyoko, who lived in Shitamachi, Tokyo in the 1940s. She was busy with her family business, but she longed for the Osaka World Expo the year after next. Her dream was thwarted by a blind date and she decided to go to Osaka. At Wanda's house, she encountered the dilemma of her uncle's family and the conflicts of her cousin Qianxia. Chinatsu is full of expectations for the Osaka Expo, but she is constrained by her family's expectations. Kyoko supports Chinatsu in challenging herself to become a service worker at the World Expo, which becomes a step toward realizing her dream.
