This play is adapted from the novel of the same name. Hitomi Masuyama (played by Kana Kurashina), the section chief of the Ikebukuro West Department, was promoted to a management position at a young age, but he encountered repeated challenges in the workplace. At this time, the newly transferred 55-year-old uncle Kotaro Mukai (played by Toshiaki Karasawa) hides his extraordinary abilities with his inconspicuous appearance. In a murder case, Hitomi's mistake allowed the suspect to escape. She fell into a trough and doubted Mukai's true purpose. However, at a critical moment, Mukai's words revived her.
