Adapted from the autobiography "The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind" written by William Kamkwamba / it tells a life-changing story: Kamkwamba himself saved his village by building a wind turbine with small scrap metal scraps / old bicycle parts and wood when he was 13 years old. 13-year-old Kamkwamba was expelled from school because his family had no money to pay the annual tuition of US$80. He loved learning and sneaked into the school library and found a way to save his famine-stricken village: using the main frame of his father's bicycle to build a simple but feasible windmill / which provided much-needed power to the western region without being disturbed by government power outages. This invention also allowed Kamkwamba to receive funding from a professor in Malawi / obtain a scholarship from the school / and conduct in-depth exchanges with other inventors on the African continent.
