Dark City [Film and TV Commentary]

The seemingly endless night shrouds the dilapidated and cold modern metropolis, and the air is filled with an ominous atmosphere. John Murdo (Rufus Sewell) woke up in the bathtub of a hotel with no memory of what had happened before, and even forgot his identity and name. The mysterious phone call, the cold body and the unidentified pursuer all made him at a loss. With the only clues he had, he began to trace his identity and the cause of all this chaos. The bizarre side of this dark world was slowly unveiled during his investigation... The film won the 1998 American Science Fiction and Horror Film Academy Best Science Fiction Film Award, the 1998 Amsterdam Fantasy Film Festival Screen Award, the 1999 Brussels International Fantasy Film Festival Pegasus Audience Award, and the 1999 Australian Film Critics Association Best Original Screenplay Award.
