The film is adapted from the advanced deeds of Wang Guilan, secretary of the Party branch of Zhenger Village, Zheng'an Town, Beizhen City, one of the top ten most beautiful "village officials" in the country. It tells the touching story of Comrade Wang Guilan, who has been rooted in the countryside for more than 30 years and has made it his mission to change the poverty and backwardness of his hometown. Even though he was suffering from leukemia, he still persisted in leading a village with a debt of 370,000 yuan on the road to prosperity. The film truly reproduces the image of a loyal, clean and responsible rural female cadre at the grassroots level. The film also incorporates expressive techniques such as the paper-cut "Momo Man", which is very characteristic of Liaoning's regional culture, and uses high-tech means that combine animation, special effects, and aerial photography to enhance the visual effects and expressiveness.
