Sad Brook

The story takes place after the September 18th Incident. The iron hooves of the Japanese army set foot on the quiet and beautiful grassland. They colluded with Prince Brooke who ruled the grassland and joined forces to oppress the herdsmen living on the same grassland. Che Ling (played by Bayin) is a member of the Prairie Knights. This group full of justice and responsibility resists the invasion and abuse of the Japanese army with their practical actions. In an accident, Galasen, the captain of the palace guard, shot and wounded Che Ling. His conscience found out that he felt very guilty and hated what he had done before, so he could only die to apologize. Zora (played by Dong Ping) is Galasen's wife. She is kind-hearted and rescues the seriously injured Che Ling, but what awaits her is her husband's cold body. At first, Zora thought it was Che Ling who killed Galasen, but when the misunderstanding was resolved, Zora fell in love with Che Ling's bravery and integrity.
