The Old Man and the Gun

Oscar-winning actor Casey Affleck has recently joined the cast of the new film "Old Man And The Gun," starring Robert Redford and based on an article in The New Yorker. Forrest Tucker has been an outlaw since he was a boy, and robbing banks has been his profession. The experience of being in prison more than a dozen times has also allowed him to develop the ability to "break out of prison" - a total of 18 escapes. The most recent time he was 70 years old! "The Old Man and the Gun" focuses on a robbery in Tucker's later years. Robert Redford will play "Tucker" and Casey Affleck will play the detective who is deeply attracted to this unique criminal. There is also 67-year-old Oscar-winning actress Sissy Spacek, who will play the woman who falls in love with the elderly criminal. "The Old Man and the Gun" is directed by David Lowery and distributed by Fox Searchlight. Filming will start in Cincinnati on April 3 this year.
