Xiushuihezi Annihilation War

The movie "Xiushuihezi Annihilation War" uses documentary techniques that reproduce history to tell the story of how after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War in 1945, the Kuomintang government, with the assistance of the United States, sent a large number of troops to the Northeast in an attempt to eliminate the people's revolutionary forces led by the CCP and monopolize the Northeast. In order to defeat the Kuomintang's attempt, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China decided to deploy a group of troops and cadres from the liberated areas in the pass to advance into the Northeast based on the strategic policy of "development to the north and defense to the south". Together with the Northeast Democratic Alliance and other troops originally in the Northeast who cooperated with the Soviet army, they carried out the strategic task of developing the Northeast. The Kuomintang and the Communist Party launched a battle for control. The film reflects the annihilation battle carried out by the Northeastern Democratic Coalition in Xiushuihezi, Faku County, Liaoning Province in February 1946.
