Jack (George Clooney) Jack) is a notorious and unlucky gangster. One failed crime forced him to face thirty years in prison. The unwilling Jack vowed never to succumb to fate and decided to escape from prison. Female police detective Karen (Jennifer Lopez) was born in a law enforcement family. Unfortunately, she always falls into the hands of bad men because of her poor vision. No, by chance, she met Jack and his partner Buddy (Ving Rhames) who were escaping from prison, and became their hostages. During the escape, Karen and Jack developed feelings for each other. After they were forced to separate, catching and bringing her lover to justice became Karen's only ideal. One has bad luck and the other has poor vision. What kind of sparks will arise between these two unlucky guys?
