The Ruined Man

Joo Young-soo (played by Kim Myung-min) is a lawyer who lives a happy life with his wife Min-jeong (played by Park Joo-mi). Together, they raise the child of their love, Hye-rin (played by Kim So-hyun). Joo Young-soo believes that it is because of the protection of the Lord that he can live such a happy life. However, an accident completely shattered Zhu Yingxiu's belief. The kidnappers kidnapped the young Hui Lin, and their whereabouts remain unknown. At first, Zhu Yingxiu and his wife firmly believed that Hui Lin would return safely. However, as time went by, this firmness gradually shattered into dust. Zhu Xiuying even had doubts about her lifelong faith because of this. Eight years later, an unexpected phone call once again caused waves in this fragmented family. Hui Lin was still alive, and Zhu Yingxiu's only belief was to find her.
