Dare: 1974

In 1974, Yorkshire, England, was always shrouded in dense fog, and the air was filled with a sad and ominous atmosphere. A series of child kidnapping cases made the atmosphere in York even more depressing. The young and energetic reporter Eddie Danford (Andrew Garfield) is extremely concerned about this and actively investigates, even having no time to take care of his critically ill father. However, as the investigation deepens, he discovers that these are not simple kidnapping cases. The shady secrets of designing politics gradually emerge, and Eddie is unknowingly surrounded by layers of dangers. The thick black fog is difficult to disperse... This film is adapted from four suspense novels by David Peace (named after the year: 1974, 1977, 1980, 1983, collectively called the Red Riding Quartet). It was produced by the British Channel 4 into three films, known as the "Red Riding Trilogy".
