Across the Sky

This is a musical film strung together with 33 Beatles classic songs, telling a love story that took place in the 1960s and was deeply influenced by anti-war protests, spiritual appeal and rock music. Jude (played by Jim Sturgess) is a shipyard worker from Liverpool. He came to Princeton in the United States alone to find his father, and met Max (played by Joe Anderson) who was about to drop out of school and his beautiful sister Lucy (played by Evan Rachel Wood). Jude and Lucy fell in love. They came to New York and met rock singer Sandy (Dana Fuchs), and then met black guitarist Jojo (Martin Luther) and lesbian Prudence (T.V. Carpio). Their lives changed with the turbulent years. The names of the characters in this film all come from classic Beatles songs.
