Little Hero Toto

Toto (played by Thomas Godet) from a civilian family and Alfred (played by Hugo Harold Harrison) from a wealthy family next door were born on the same day in the same hospital. Toto firmly believes that their two babies were held by the wrong parents because of a fire in the hospital. The privileged life that should have belonged to him was taken away by Alfred. Of course, whenever he mentioned this matter, he would inevitably receive an old punch from Alfred. With the unexpected death of his father, Toto's hatred of Alfred's family gradually deepens. Hatred did not satisfy and compensate him, but instead cast his life in shadow forever... The film won the 1991 Cannes Film Festival Youth Award for Best Foreign Language Film, the 1992 French César Award for Best Foreign Language Film, the 1991 European Film Festival for Best Actor (Michel Bouquet), Best Cinematography, Best Screenplay and Youth Film Award, and the 1992 Portuguese Fantasy International Film Festival for Best Film and Best Screenplay.
