In Melbourne, Australia, the Chinese chef Jiqi (Jackie Chan) is a well-known local figure and regularly hosts cooking programs on TV. The drug lord King Carlo (played by Richard Norton) has a powerful group. King Carlo himself is cruel and ruthless. After eliminating the undercover agents of the rival gang, he leads a group of people to fight with each other in the warehouse. The entire shootout was recorded by reporter Diana (played by Gabrielle Fitzpatrick) with a camera. On the way to avoid being chased by a drug cartel, Diana happened to meet Jiqi, who generously helped her distract the gangsters. Unexpectedly, when the two broke up, Diana mistakenly took Jiqi's program video as evidence. Diana's residence was quickly found by the drug cartel, and the gangsters who could not find anything began to turn their targets on Jiqi. Jiqi's girlfriend Meiqi (played by Li Tingyi) visited from afar and specially participated in the recording of Jiqi's program. The drug cartel rounded up Jiqi at the recording site. After a hard fight on the street, Jiqi finally escaped from danger. Jin Carlo's rival gang took Meiqi away and threatened Jiqi to use the videotape. For a time, Jiqi, the police, and the two criminal groups were involved in a chaotic battle surrounding the videotape.
