The Past City

The movie "The Past City" tells the story of the "ant tribe" group, youth and struggle of the post-80s generation in the ancient city of Xi'an. University graduate Liu Jianhao and his girlfriend Li Xiaotong, like most young people who have just stepped out of school, moved into an affordable and high-quality urban village as a temporary residence, and became neighbors with their good buddy Lu Liang and the painter Yu Hui. They are full of confidence, work hard, and dream of breaking into a new world of their own in the city. After experiencing career confusion and emotional entanglements, they still carried forward the burden and finally achieved their own success through hard work. Many years later, when they look back on their journey, they realize that the events in their past have become indelible memories in their lives!
