White Night Walk 2009

When the sun reaches its highest point, its shadow disappears. Interpol Han Dong-soo (played by Han Seok-kyu), in order to confirm his suspicion about a conclusive murder case, caused the accidental death of his son, and he has become depressed ever since. Fourteen years later, a murder case seemed to have some connection with the case of that year. When Han Dongxiu once again began to pay attention to the son of one of the victims, Youhan (played by Go Soo), he unexpectedly met a private detective who was helping the consortium boss investigate his fiancée Yoo Miho (played by Son Yejin). From the private detective, he learned that this woman named Yoo Miho was the daughter of the murderer who committed suicide in fear of crime, Li Jia. The two children whom Han Dongxiu once suspected have now grown up, and they also appear around him because of murder cases. During Han Dongxiu's investigation, he discovered the truth about the murders that year and recent murders. Behind the truth was a bitterly in love couple who could never meet in broad daylight. The film is adapted from the novel "White Night Journey" of the same name by the famous Japanese mystery novelist Keigo Higashino. The novel was made into a TV series in Japan and was a huge success.
