Love Short Film

The film tells the story of a boy Tomak (played by Olaf Lubaszenko) who uses an astronomical telescope to spy on the woman Magda (played by Grazyna Szapolowska) who lives in the apartment building opposite, and unknowingly becomes obsessed with her. Every move she made made Tomac dream about him, and her smile touched all his nerves. Through the telescope, Tomak saw Magda having sex with a man, but he hesitated to show love. It wasn't until he saw her crying in frustration that Tomac plucked up the courage to propose. But Magda rejected his confession. Thomas's belief in pure love suddenly collapsed. At this time, he wanted to commit suicide to keep his loyalty to love. The suicide failed, and when he was discharged from the hospital, Magda actually became obsessed with him. The film is a work developed and expanded by director Kieslowski from the sixth story in his "The Ten Commandments", and won multiple awards at the 1988 San Sebastian International Film Festival.
