Happy Angel

"Happy Angel" is You Min's work after winning the Asian Best Actress twice in "The Love of a Beautiful Girl" and "Happy Events", which fully reveals her innocent, lively and tender side. The plot tells the story of a rich man, Jin Wen-ou (Qiao Hong), and a grocery store proprietor's daughter, Mei Wanping (You Min), who did not know each other at first, but because of a advertising painting, the two got together through a misunderstanding. The subtlety of their fate is evident. This film is You Min's first collaboration with Qiao Hong, and the pairing is fresh; Xie Jiahua, a young lady from Shanghai in the 1940s, plays Qiao Hong's fiancée, and she is eye-catching no matter how she looks or behaves.
